Note from Kristine:
Each month we have a 90 minute HotSeat call. Library members can apply to be in the HotSeat where they get a 45 minute free career strategy session with me.
The call begins with me sharing some thoughts (about 15 minutes) and ends with an open Q&A session (30 minutes). Members are welcome to hop on and off the call as their schedules permit.
Recordings of the calls are posted in the Library for members to listen to and/or download.
Here is the entire call from November 2010:

Hi Kristine.
I just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you again for the call we did late last year when I was in the hot seat. I didn’t exactly follow the plan we discussed, but I did use the thoughts and ideas to start generating new business for myself as a filmmaker, as well as with the clarity you gave me I jumped fully into a six month film school program to hone my directing/shooting skills. Our call about marketing ideas and your videos on specificity (those really changed my life) led directly to me making my living solely as a filmmaker. After ten years of working in offices to pay the bills and being miserable, as of the last two months I’m officially a filmmaker for hire and I’M GETTING HIRED and business already doubled in one month and I can see it growing. Actors are hiring me to shoot reel scenes, musicians are hiring me to shoot music videos, producers are hiring me to shoot short films, and my path is leading right where I want it to!
On our call we went through my priorities and I realized acting wasn’t that important to me anymore because my love is directing and I’ve pretty much let it go (for the most part). Since then I’ve been being very specific on not only the projects I do on my own budget so that they are geared toward my end goal, but taking a very specific path on how to get to my ultimate end goal of directing major motion pictures (mainly romantic comedies and family/love dramas). I’ve gotten so specific that I’m now writing my own feature right and I am confident I will be shooting my the film as the director (and a small role as actor) THIS YEAR.
Kristine, I can honestly say you’ve helped change my life. Thank you for putting together the Actor’s Library and helping to inspire and steer me (and folks like me) in the right direction.
You so totally kick ass!
Jenn Page, Director
